Team flying to Scotland in a week

Fly Fishing Team Finland will be flying to Scotland on the 29th of May. Team will be practicing on suitable waters before the beginning of the actual World Fly Fishing Championships on June 5th.

Team registered

Fly Fishing Team Finland has registered for the 29th FIPS-Mouche World Fly Fishing Championships. Captain Mika Vainio, anglers Janne Pirkkalainen, Olli Toivonen, Martti Lähteenmäki, Juhani Rosenström and Jarkko Suominen along with manager/reserve Tero Mäntylä will travel to Scotland at the end of May.

The Finnish National Team selected

After the Finnish National Championships the Finnish national team was selected. The five anglers in the team are Janne Pirkkalainen, Olli Toivonen, Martti Lähteenmäki, Juhani Rosenström and Jarkko Suominen. They do their best under the captainship of Mika Vainio. Last year Fly Fishing Team Finland published their new website and blog. News, sponsors, etc. will be published on this website. The blog will be used by team members. There they will write reports during preparation in Finland and when practicing and competing in Scotland.
